Guest Services Agent / Front Desk

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at the newest hotel in Duluth, MN —Force on Fifth Avenue. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.

 

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome

• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservations

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, providing solutions to enhance their experience

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively

• Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette

• Assist with night audit responsibilities as required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded

• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

• Uphold high standards of guest relations by fostering a welcoming atmosphere

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred

• Strong customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
