Maintenance - Hospitality 

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our team and ensure the optimal operation and appearance of our facilities and outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of hotel maintenance tasks, including landscaping, equipment repair, groundskeeping, and general building upkeep, guest room appliances general upkeep, bathroom functionality upkeep. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, functional, and attractive environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, gardening skills, and hands-on expertise in a dynamic setting.

 

Duties

• Assist in deep cleaning of guest room appliances

• Ensure guest room appliances are fully operational

• Conduct routine building maintenance tasks such as fixing fixtures, repairing equipment, and addressing plumbing or electrical issues

• Provide snow removal services during winter months to keep pathways and parking areas safe and accessible

• Maintain hardscape features like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures

• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities and report any hazards or damages promptly

• Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, planting, pruning, and lawn care to maintain aesthetic appeal

• Provide minor security assistance

 

Qualifications

• Skilled in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

• Excellent physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance needs

• Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while working independently or as part of a team
